Find Your Kid's Size

To find the best fit for your kids' glasses, first you should look for the perfect frame width.

A frame that’s slightly wider than your kids' face is a good place to start — no more than a finger width between the temple and your kids' face is a good rule of thumb.

If you’ve already got a pair of glasses for your kids that fit, measure from screw to screw on the face front for a good idea of the frame width.

Other Useful Measurements

You’ll also sometimes see other measurements on the temple (arm) of your or your kids' glasses.

These three numbers represent different parts of the frame:

From left to right, the numbers tell you the:

1. Lens width - 49
2. Bridge width - 22
3. Temple length - 150

Sometimes as fourth number will be noted on the arm, and this is your lens height. Keep in mind that all these measurements are in millimeters.
